Center for E-Learning EMU's Center for E-Learning provides instructors with support for the Canvas learning management system and the Zoom web conferencing tool. Training includes live webinars, pre-recorded webinars as well as individual instructor support to address specific course design challenge you might encounter.
Bruce K. Nelson Faculty Development Center The Faculty Development Center (FDC) is housed on the first floor of the Halle Library and provides professional development services and opportunities to all EMU instructors. In addition to support with online/remote teaching, the FDC offers a wide variety of professional development opportunities over the course of the semester.
University Writing Center Part-Time and Full-Time Lecturers can request an individual consultation or submit their own writing for feedback at the University Writing Center.
Writing Across the Curriculum The Writing Across the Curriculum program assists instructors with taking a system approach to integrate writing into their teaching. This annual seminar is offered through the University Writing and Center and is open to PTLs and FTLs.
